When you use the Application, we may collect the following types of information:

• Account Information: If you create an account, we collect information such as your email address, display name (optional), and password (hashed). If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account email and public profile information.
• Trading Data: You manually input data about your options trades, including ticker symbols, strike prices, quantities, dates, prices, and notes ("Trading Data"). This data is stored in Firebase Firestore if you are logged in, or in your browser's local storage if you use Guest Mode.
• Usage Data: We may collect information about how you interact with the Application, such as features used and pages visited. This is typically aggregated and anonymized (Firebase Analytics, if enabled).
• Preferences: We store your preferences, such as date format and theme (dark/light mode), associated with your account or in local storage for guests.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Application.
• Store and display your Trading Data as per your instructions.
• Personalize your experience (e.g., preferences).
• Communicate with you, if necessary (e.g., account-related emails).
• Improve the Application.

Data Storage and Security

• Authenticated Users: Your Trading Data and Account Information are stored on Firebase Firestore, a service provided by Google. Firebase employs industry-standard security measures to protect your data. All data is encrypted in transit between the app and Firebase servers using TLS (HTTPS).
• Guest Mode: Your Trading Data is stored in your browser's local storage. This data is not transmitted to our servers and is lost if you clear your browser data or switch devices/browsers.

We take reasonable measures to help protect your information, but no security system is impenetrable.

Sharing Your Information

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information or your detailed Trading Data, except in the following circumstances:

• With service providers (like Firebase) who assist us in operating the Application, conducting our business, or serving our users, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential.
• When required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process.
• To protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our users or others.

Your Data Rights & Deletion

You have control over your data within the OptionsTrackerPro application. You can add, edit, and delete individual data points (like trades or journal entries) at any time through the app interface.

Additionally, you can delete all of your application data without deleting your account by using the "Clear All Data" feature found in the Settings page under the "Danger Zone" section. This action is irreversible and will remove all trades, campaigns, and journal entries.

Account Deletion

You also have the right to request the deletion of your entire account and all associated data.

How to Delete Your Account

1. Log in to your OptionsTrackerPro account within the app.
2. Navigate to the Settings page.
3. Scroll down to the "Danger Zone" section.
4. Click the "Delete My Account" button and follow the on-screen confirmation steps.

What Data is Deleted?

When you confirm account deletion, the following data is permanently and irreversibly removed from our servers:

• Your user profile (email, display name, preferences, etc.).
• All of your option trade data.
• All of your strategy campaigns.
• All of your journal entries.
• Any other application-specific data tied to your user ID.

This action cannot be undone. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
